PCMC PRIORITY ISSUES
Each of the PCMC Member Organizations has its own mission and focus;
what is important for one organization may not be on the radar for another. In forming this coalition we have agreed to work together on specific areas where we find common purpose. The PCMC Issues Committee has identified specific issues that we can concentrate on as a coalition:
1) Protesting the Iraq War
2) Understanding Conflict in the Middle East
3) Revealing the Truth About American Empire
4) Protesting the Use of Torture
5) Promoting Alternatives to Military Service
The business of the PCMC is determined by consensus at PCMC Steering Committee meetings held every other month. The PCMC Steering Committee is comprised of one representative from each of the PCMC Member Organizations. Four of these representatives are selected to serve as PCMC administrative officers for a one-year term ending in December. Officers for the year 2010 are:
PCMC co-Chairpersons: Karen Araujo and Gary Karnes
PCMC Secretary: Phillip Crawford
PCMC Treasurer: Janis Knepp
If you would like to bring an issue or action to the PCMC Steering Committee, we ask that you first approach one of the PCMC Member Organizations for their sponsorship. That organization's PCMC representative can then bring the issue to the PCMC Steering Committee.

Each of the PCMC Member Organizations designates one person to post their organization's business on the PCMC website. Each can post items to the planning calendar, the actions/petitions/boycotts tools, and edit their organization's profile page.
