- Event Description: Monday, March 8, 5:30 – 8:00 pm, International Women’s Day Celebration. Women and Leadership: The 30% Solution. Keynote speaker: Linda Tarr-Whelan, Demos Distinguished Senior Fellow, President Clinton’s ambassador to the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women, and author of Women Lead the Way. Panel discussion includes MIIS Provost Dr. Amy Sands; Linda Alepin, Founding director of the Global Women’s Leadership Network of Santa Clara Uiversity’s Leavey School of Business; and Christine Grumm, President and CEO of the Women’s Funding Network.
